    • Comprehensive testing and field deployment observations indicate that this deviation exhibits a consistently non-hostile disposition. Throughout all monitored interactions, it demonstrated cooperative behavior, responsiveness to authorized personnel, and no signs of aggression, territoriality, or hostile intent. Current findings classify the deviation as friendly and suitable for controlled operational deployment, with no immediate threat posed to personnel or facility assets.

IDENTIFIERS

A weathered industrial-grade multi-tool assembly on a reinforced rotary base, featuring articulated tool heads for cutting, gripping, and fastening. Signs of oxidation and wear suggest use in harsh environments. Its modular design allows adaptability for repair, fabrication, and precision tasks, making it a versatile utility apparatus.

Deviation Data

Deviation O-046 is an ornamental mechanical hand that stands about 40 centimeters tall and weighs roughly 30 kilograms. It is painted red, and each of its fingers is a set of tools that can be extended, retracted, or replaced as permitted by its internal structure. O-046 possesses an extremely complex internal mechanical structure, consisting of a large number of electronic components, gears, connecting rods, springs, hydraulic pumps, and pneumatic parts. Its power source is unknown but is sufficient to enable precise movements for extended periods. The primary Deviation Traits displayed by O-046 are its unusual intelligence and anti-entropic effects. O-046 is sentient and displays a degree of sapience, but ignores any attempts at communication, and remains inert most of the time. If a damaged machine (designated O-046-A) is placed within feet of O-046, the latter will spontaneously activate, extending tools from its fingertips to quickly repair O-046-A. The entire repair process typically requires only 5 to 10 minutes. O-046 is capable of generating any required tools, parts, or materials required to perform its repairs. The mechanism behind this is unknown, but it is possible to hear indistinct mechanical sounds and metal being milled inside O-046 during the process, after which it will retract one or many of its fingers, and then extend new tools or parts from its hand. Notably, when O-046 generates any new parts or materials, its mass does not change, even though the mass of O-046-A does increase as a result of being repaired. In some experiments, O-046 was able to generate and utilize parts that were many times its own mass. Incident O--D-004, Date //: The securement breach involving Deviation - occurred. A Rapid Response Team - was deployed to the Site , and recovered Deviations, including O-046. Body camera footage showed that when the rapid response team entered O-046's securement cell, both the cell and its S-Vessel had already been damaged. O-046 was in an unusually active state, had expanded itself to almost 2 meters in size by using nearby debris, and was attempting to repair its own S-Vessel and containment cell. When a SWAT operative (male), who was heavily wounded, approached O-046, the latter retracted all of its tools and adopted a posture suggesting pain or indecision [Data Deleted]. Securement Procedures: DO: Secure O-046 in Grade III or higher S-Vessel for valuable objects. Its securement cell should measure at least 5 meters on each side, meet Grade IV biochemical safety standards, and be covered with at least 1 meter of vacuum insulation. Service O-046's securement cell with specialized remote-control machinery. Do not allow O-046 to approach any living organism or biological tissue and products. DO NOT: Secure O-046 at the same site as Deviations that require living organisms as inputs.
